Palmyra is a sleepy little Wisconsin town
consisting of little more than a few general stores, local bars, parks
for young couples to cuddle in, and some bait shops catering to amatuer
fishermen who have made Scuppernog River their home away from home. Its
population of 1766 is generally conservative and steadily middle class.
Everything in Palmyra reflects the picturesque small midwestern town.
However, from the 1950s until the 1970s, a strange man named Young became
both the town's blessing, and its curse. The legacy that he left behind
is at the very least bizarre, and at the very most, a window into what
may happen when the human psyche goes completely insane...
